Contact Juggling is the art of rolling one or more balls across one's body(ball rolling) and/or spinning them in the hands(palmspinning). This description may seem to present contact juggling(CJ) as a very limited hobby. In fact, new tricks are being created every day.
Ball Rolling: This is the act of rolling one or more balls(usually 1, 2, or 3) over the body and hands. This form of CJ is usually presented in a flowing manner. I mostly practice this. Usually the first move people learn(including me) is the Butterfly.
Palmspinning: This kind of CJ can be mesmirizing if executed with variation. The basic technique involves spinning two or more balls in the palm of one hand. I find the two-ball palmspin(counter-clockwise) to be easiest.
Toss/Contact Juggling: Usually the difference between a CJ toss trick and a toss juggling trick is that a toss juggling trick can't be stopped at any moment. A CJ toss move has start and stop positions most of the time.
